The article points out the importance of practical teaching in the course of materials corrosion and protection. The experimental teaching reform methods were discussed from the aspects of teaching contents and teaching forms. The various forms of experiments were set up, and students can independently choose experimental projects. The flexibility and pertinence of teaching were increased.
