从声调标记到标记声调

Markedness of the Tone and Marked Tone

声调特征作为一种描写声调的手段,还不能发挥它在历时研究方面的作用,所以要引进变调这个动态变量。具有变调的数量和参与变调活动的情况,都可以用来衡量一个声调的稳定性。也就是说,变调可以成为声调标记。而有的声调会比别的声调更具有吸引力,那么这个声调就是标记声调,它可能是声调格局变化的引导者。

As a method on describing current tonal system, tonal features made no sense on historical analysis, so we need introduce a new mark, tone-sandhi. If a tone is stable depend on how many tone-sandhi forms it has, and what role it takes in a tone sandhi. Some tones show more popular than others, they contract some characters move to it, maybe it can change a current tone system, we call it marked tone.
