再论书院制——英、美及我国香港顶尖大学书院制模式比较及其启示

On the Residential College System——A Comparison of the College System of Top Universities in U.K.,U.S. and HKSAR

对牛津大学、剑桥大学的书院制和哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、普林斯顿大学的书院制以及我国香港中文大学的书院制模式进行比较分析后发现,书院制是诸多世界一流大学为保障人才培养质量所采取的一种重要方式。这三种模式发展历程相互关联,均秉持博雅教育办学理念,但在书院行政和财政权、招生权分配以及导师制具体实践等方面存在较大差异。六所大学书院制发展与改革的成功经验对优化我国大学人才培养及创新书院制模式具有借鉴价值。

Comparing the college system of Oxford,Cambridge,Harvard,Yale,Princeton,and the Chinese University of Hong Kong,it found that the college system was a significant approach for world-class universities to ensure the quality of personnel cultivation.The three kinds of college system were correlated,holding the idea of liberal education;however,there＇re divided on the aspects of administrative and financial rights,the distribution of enrollment rights,and the specific practice of tutoring.It offers reference for the optimization of personnel cultivation and the innovation of the college system in China.
