The calculation method of ventilation and air-treatment of galleys and pantries with cooking appliances for shipbuilding are introduced in ISO 9943—2009 international standard and GB/T 20846—2007 China national standard.A new simple calculation method and air treatment process which are more easily understood and accepted by all are proposed for reference by engineering and design researchers.
