Montel’s criterion is the most celebrated theorem in the theory of normal families of meromorphic functions,and plays an important role in value distribution theory,complex dynamics,extremal problems,etc.Up to now,there have been a variety of extensions and improvements of Montel’s criterion.In this paper,some generalizations and improvements of Montel’s criterion are summarized.Also,two questions related to Montel’s criterion are given.
