Individualized selection and the skills of transurethral laser prostatectomy

良性前列腺增生(BPH)是我国中老年男性的常见疾病之一,外科手术是其治疗最为有效的方法。欧洲泌尿外科协会(EAU)和美国泌尿学会(AUA)指南均指出,经尿道前列腺电切术(TURP)是治疗BPH的"金标准"。然而TURP因具有经尿道电切综合征(TURS)、出血量较大等严重并发症,尤其是对于高龄、高危如有冠心病、服用抗凝药或前列腺体积巨大的患者手术风险更大,这些情况限制了TURP的进一步应用。近年来,随着激光技术的发展、研究和应用推广的深入,使得BPH的治疗方式更加先进和完善,并逐渐彰显出了激光治疗BPH的优势,似有取代TURP成为治疗BPH新"金标准"之势。

Benign prostatic hyperplasia（BPH）is one of the common diseases of elderly men in China,and surgical treatment is the most effective method for BPH.The European Association of Urology（EAU）and the American Association of Urology（AUA）guidelines point out that transurethral resection of prostate（TURP）is the ＂gold standard＂ for BPH treatment.However,TURP has serious complications such as transurethral resection syndrome（TURS）and large amount of bleeding,especially for elderly,high-risk patients with coronary heart disease,taking anticoagulants or large prostate volume,which limits the further application of TURP.In recent years,with the further development of laser technology and further researches,the transurethral laser prostatectomy made BPH treatment more advanced and perfect,and gradually showed the advantages of laser treatment of BPH.It is possible to replace TURP as a new gold standard for the treatment of BPH.
