Today clothes are made in tactories, but many years ago, people made clothes by hand with natural materials.
On Pacific islands, people made their first clothes from leaves and from bark （树皮）, which is on the outside of a tree. For dancing, men and women wore skirts made of grass and a headdress of flowers, feathers, and shells.
