殷墟卜辞数见用在作乱方国名称前的一字,旧无确释。根据细致的字形比对,该字可确认为"屯",主要用为蠢动之"蠢"。西周金文从"戈"断"屯"之字亦应读为"蠢"。甲金文"屯盂方""蠢淮夷"等例同古书"蠢尔蛮荆",亦可与清华简"春(蠢)邦"对读。传抄古文"蠢"作从"戈/"、"春"声等形体,实即金文写法之流变。以上诸形的释出,有助于解决相关问题,包括"屯"字本义、有关古书脱简和句读理解、有关青铜器铭文的释读问题等。

Through detailed comparison between various patterns of character,the paper affirms the character to be ＂Tun＂（屯）,which is indicates cutting down＂Tun＂（屯）.The saying like＂Tun Yufang＂（屯盂方）,＂Chun Huai Yi＂（蠢淮夷）correspond to the＂Chun er Man Jing＂（蠢尔蛮荆）in ancient classic and to the＂Chun bang＂（蠢邦）in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips.The character＂Chun＂（蠢）in transcribed ancient script comprises pictographic symbol like＂Ge＂（戈）or＂Zai＂（）and phonetic symbol＂Chun＂（春）.The paper deciphers these graphic symbols,which makes it possible to further explore other related questions,including the original meaning of character＂Tun＂（屯）,disorders and pauses in ancient books,comprehension of ancient classic and the deciphering of bronze inscription.
