Thermal and Soft Magnetic Properties of Multi-Component Fe_(52-x)Co_(14)Nb_4Mo_3Ni_5B_(22)Cr_x Bulk Metallic Glasses

摘要 采用铜模铸造法制备Fe_(52-x)Co_(14)Nb_4Mo_3Ni_5B_(22)Cr_x(x=0, 2, 3, 4; at.%)多组元块体非晶合金。采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、差示扫描量热分析仪(DSC)和振动样品磁强计(VSM)等手段探究了Cr含量对合金非晶形成能力及软磁性能的影响。DSC曲线表明,合金经历2次晶化过程,Cr含量增加使得合金成分接近深共晶点。随着Cr含量的增加,合金的过冷液相区ΔTx由36 K增加到51 K,晶化起始温度Tx1由842 K增加至872 K。VSM结果表明,Fe_(52-x)Co_(14)Nb_4Mo_3Ni_5B_(22)Cr_x非晶合金其饱和磁感应强度Ms随着Cr含量的增加而减小。制备得到的多组元块体非晶合金具有高非晶形成能力和优异软磁性能,适合于作为一款优异的磁性元器件材料使用。 Multi-component Fe52-xCo14Nb4Mo3Ni5B22Crx(x=0, 2, 3, 4; at.%) bulk metallic glasses (BMG) were prepared by copper mold casting. The effects of Cr substitution for Fe on glass forming ability (GFA) and soft magnetic properties of the alloys were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The DSC curves show that the alloys undergo two-stage crystallization process, and increasing Cr content makes alloy composition close to deep eutectic. With increasing Cr content, the supercooled liquid region △Tx increases from 36 K to 51 K and the crystallization onset temperature Tx1 is found to increase from 842 K to 872 K. The VSM results indicate that Fe52-xCo14Nb4Mo3Ni5B22Crx BMGs exhibit high saturation magnetization and low coercivity. The saturation magnetization of the alloys decreases with increasing Cr content. The success of synthesizing the newly developed Fe-based BMGs exhibiting simultaneously high GFA as well as excellent soft magnetic properties allows us to expect future progress as a new type of soft magnetic materials for magnetic components.
