Meeting hotels Caesars Entertainment plans to break ground in the second quarter on Caesars Forum, a $375 million, 550,000-square-foot conference center next to Harrah＇s and just east of the center Strip. Caesars is acquiring 18.4 acres of land for the project as part of a sale and lease-back deal for Harrah＇s -- a deal that also will help to finance the construction of the conference center. Slated to open in 2020.
