Protection and Sustainable Utilization of Biogenetic Resources under the Belt and Road Initiative in Yunnan Province

本文综述了云南生物遗传资源保护与利用现状,并基于云南与"一带一路"沿线国家已有的合作基础,提出未来合作建议:开展生物遗传资源调查与评估;加强迁地保护与资源评价;建立"一带一路"遗传资源多边惠益分享机制;构建双边或多边保护合作机制;深入合作开展传统医药研发;加强遗传资源合理开发与驯化栽培合作。

Biogenetic resources cooperation needs to be strengthened in the Belt and Road investment and trade. Genetic resources are abundant in Yunnan province. And it is a gateway to the South Asian and Southeast Asian countries in the construction of the Belt and Road,with unique geographical advantages. The current status of the conservation and utilization of genetic resources in Yunnan province is summarized. Based on the existing cooperative basis with the countries along the Belt and Road, measures to strengthen the cooperation of protection and sustainable utilization of genetic resources were suggested.
