Process and Enlightenment of Cause Identification of a Radiant-type Electric Heater Fire

The investigation process of identifying the cause of a fire resuhed in a small electric room heater was introduced. The fire time, origin and the fire nature were determined through analyzing on field video. The fire cause was finally identified by the material evidence extracted at the scene and metallographic analysis. The fire cause identification method in this case could provide reference for similar fire investigation.
