By introducing the background and overall revision rules of TB/T 2476（all parts） —2017 Railway Signal Cable,the Article analyzes the differences between the new and old standards,in view of normative referenc-es,cable types name codes,technical requirements,test methods,inspection rules,marks,transport andstorage,etc.,focusing on revising such main technical requirements as conductor,insulation and outer sheath,etc. It points out that the new standard can meet the requirements for the design,manufacturing,inspection and cer-tification of railway signal cables.
