As the core equipment of the 800t self-elevating offshore wind turbine service unit built by the company in south China, the 3 600 t hydraulic ram and pin jacking system is a key equipment with independent intellectual property rights and leading edge in China, which successfully breaks the monopoly of foreign countries in this feld. Based on the design and actual construction of the system, this paper briefy introduces its composition, working principle, installation process and matters needing attention, and provides valuable reference for the design and installation of other similar systems in the future.
