通过考察"不+名"的现有解释,发现了汉语研究的某些问题,如模仿印欧语词类研究模式给汉语词分类与归类而徒增混乱,趋从"语言学原理"研究汉语而脱离汉语实际,受共时论误导,造成无根之说等,都是汉语研究的基本问题。要解决这些问题,就需要更新语言观,完善方法论,坚持论从史出、论从材料来的原则,立足汉语实际做研究。这不仅是结束步趋人后之历史的必要条件,也是开创汉语研究新局面的必由之路。

Some serious problems in the study of Chinese can be found by examining the present interpretation of the“不＋名”structure. The problems include the imitation of Indo-European model of words study and the scrambling for the way of researching Chinese by“Principles of Linguistics”. These approaches bring nothing but chaos into the categorization and classification of Chinese words, lead to ignoring the existential state of the language, and produce groundless views misled by the synchronic theory. These are the fundamental problems in the field of Chinese research. To tackle such problems we need to renew our language view, to improve our methodology, and to devote ourselves on dealing with Chinese in its real state, adopting the rule of “opinions from history and materials”. This is not only a prerequisite of stopping aping of others, but also the only route of breaking new grounds in the study of Chinese.
