Large-scale VMware Virtual Machine Backup System Design

本文从通信运营商已大规模部署VMware虚拟机,建立完备的高可用备份体系建设以保证在数据意外丢失发生时从备份副本中恢复数据的需求展开论述,分析了大规模VMware虚拟机备份系统关键软硬件设备选型以及网络部署与隔离、CBT功能启用、重删机制启用、智能策略关键构建等技术点的设计,实现安全、智能、稳定和高效的大规模VMware虚拟机平台备份系统。

Based on the situation of a large scale VMware virtual machines been deployed on communication operators and the requirement of a complete backup system to ensure that data can be recovered from backup system when data missing occurs, this paper analyzes the design of the key hardware and software settings and key technical points of the VMware virtual machine backup system,then a large-scale VMware virtual machine platform backup system is established, which is safe, intelligent, stable and efficient.
