摘要
对WiFi协议中的能耗管理机制进行了研究,分析了WiFi移动终端的双向通信机制,指出其中存在的额外能耗,并从通信层面提出改进的节能方案。建立模型估算出信标帧在WiFi接入点(简称AP)和服务器之间的往返时延(RTT),使终端可以动态地决定侦听信标帧的间隔以减少不必要的唤醒,从而降低功耗。仿真结果显示,相同条件下,改进后的能耗效率得到明显的提高。
This paper studies the energy management mechanism in the WiFi protocol, analyzes the two-way communication mechanism of the WiFi mobile terminal, points out the additional energy consumption, and proposes an improved energy saving scheme from the communication level A model is established to estimate the round-trip delay (RTT) between the WiFi access point and the server, so that the terminal can dynamically determine the beacon frames to reduce the unnecessary wake-up and reduce the power consumption. The simulation results show that under the same conditions, the energy efficiency of the improved system is significantly improved.
