鲜卑源氏家族文化史考述

A Study on the Cultural History of the Xianbei Yuan Family

发源于秃发鲜卑的源氏家族,因北魏重臣源贺而显赫于世,并延续于北朝隋唐时期。隋代开始,该家族逐渐汉化,唐代时已彻底变为以儒家思想为本。唐德宗建中之后,因其族人源休的叛乱以及政治经济文化的巨变,家族逐渐式微,不少族人转而为商。但源氏家族并未因之株连九族,也未彻底退出军政舞台,直到北宋时期,该家族中仍有不少人任职于各地。由于宋代两次北方游牧民族南下,该家族中的一支先后迁徙到广东南雄珠玑巷和鹤山霄乡,以农商为主,繁衍至今,并走向世界各地。

The Yuan family, descended of towering Xianbei family, became prominent in the Northern Wei dynasty because of the high-ranking official Yuan He, and continued in the Northern Dynasties, Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty. Since Sui Dynasty, this family is Chinesized gradually, and completely followed Confuciaism in Tang dynasty .After the rule of Emperor Dezong of Tang Dynasty （after 784 A.D.）, due to the rebellion led by a family member Yuan Xiu, coinsided with the radical changes in politics,economy and cuhure, the family gradually declined and many family members turned to business. Not being implicated, the family did not completely withdraw form the military arena, and they still serve all over the country till the Northern Song Dynasty.During the two aggressive wars of the northern nomadic people in Song Dynasty, one branch of the family migrated to Zhuji Lane,Nanxiong,Guangdong and Xiaoxiang, Heshan, mainly engaging in farming and business. This family has developed since then and many have settled abroad.
