To research the optimistic bias under different emotional states, this research used the Single-factor group design.172 college students were randomly divided into four emotional(pleasure, sadness, fear and neutral emotion) groups and induced corresponding emotion by movie clips, and then their optimistic bias were measured. The results shows that no matter what kind of emotional state, subjects expresss optimistic bias in some degree(p〈0.001) and there are two types of optimistic biases (p〈0.05) in each group. There is a significant difference between the bias scores in each group,F(3,168)=8.93,P〈0.01.The happy group s optimistic bias is significantly higher than the other three groups, and this three groups are not different from each other.Subjects in different events of optimistic bias has significant difference, regardless of what kind of emotion, optimistic bias with negative events are significantly higher than that with positive events,in other words, the optimistic bias of type Ⅱ is greater than that of type.
