Curriculum design is an important link in the teaching practice of new engineering. Starting from the orientation of thenew engineering in higher vocational colleges, this paper expounds the main ideas of the curriculum design for new engineering,discusses the four characteristics of the curriculum design, and puts forward some constructive suggestions on the developmentstrategy of the curriculum for new engineering.
