科技创新对居民消费水平的影响——基于长江经济带的实证研究

The Impact of Scientific and Technological Innovation on the Consumption Level of Residents: An empirical Study Based on the Yangtze River Economic Belt

文章选择长江经济带11个省市来研究科技创新对于居民消费水平的影响,利用2007-2016年各指标数据构建面板数据固定效应模型。首先分析长江经济带科技创新对于居民消费水平的影响作用,结果表明科技创新对居民消费水平呈现显著的正向促进作用。其次,对比分析城镇和农村,结果表明,科技创新对于城镇和农村居民消费水平均表现促进作用,但是就促进程度来看城镇大于农村。最后根据实证分析的结果给出了相关的政策建议。

This paper selects 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt to study the impact of scientific and technological innovation on the level of household consumption, and uses the data from 2007-2016 to build a panel data fixed-effects model. First of all, it analyzes the effect of scientific and technological innovation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt on the level of residents’ consumption. The results show that scientific and technological innovation has a significant positive effect on the level of residents’ consumption. Secondly, the comparative analysis of urban and rural areas shows that scientific and technological innovation has a positive effect on the performance of urban and rural residents’ consumption, but urban areas are larger than rural areas in terms of degree of promotion. Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, relevant policy recommendations are given.
