中国当代艺术“当代性”的话语构成与价值沉淀

The Discourse Structure and Value Deposit of “Contemporaneity”in Contemporary Chinese Art

理解中国当代艺术的关键是"当代"一词。"当代"不只是一个时间,还是一种价值。讨论中国当代艺术应该从当代到"当代性"。近年来学术界围绕中国当代艺术的"当代性"大体形成了四种话语,即现实性与时代性、创新性与差异性、文化性与批判性、超当代与挑战性等。这些并不是当代性的全部内涵,但代表了当前学术界对中国当代艺术当代性的理解。当代艺术最根本的是挑战传统与规范的,具有一种理想性的艺术观念,它最终沉淀为历史性价值,构成"一代有一代之艺术"的重要一环。

The key to understand Chinese contemporary art is the word " contemporary",which is not only a term referring to time,but also one for value.The study of Contemporary Chinese art should be shifted from"the contemporary"to"the contemporaneity". Concerning"contemporaneity",there are generally four discourses in the present academic circles,namely,reality and times,innovation and difference,culture and criticism,super-contemporaneity and challenge. Though they do not embody the entire connotations,they yet represent the current academic interpretations of contemporaneity for contemporary Chinese art. The most fundamental thing for the contemporary art is to challenge the tradition and norms with an ideal artistic concept which eventually evolves to be historical values and becomes a link in the chains of art.
