Hongyan spirit is a precious spiritual wealth left to us by history, and is a valuable spiritual resource for ideological and political education of college students. In the new era, we should make full use of the ideological and political education function of the Hongyan spirit to improve the quality of ideological and political theory works of colleges and universities. We should integrate the Hongyan spirit into the ideological and political course for college students in order to cultivate new talents for national rejuvenation. Meanwhile, we should integrate Hongyan spirit into main front of college students＇ daily ideological and political education and combine Hongyan spirit with the social practice of college students.
