动物园保护教育新形式之游客自主探索活动

Visitors' Autonomous Exploration: a New Form of Conservation Education in the Zoo

随着动物园职能的转变,综合保护和保护教育成为现代动物园的两大核心职能。为了进一步丰富入园游客的参观体验,提升保护教育的成效,上海动物园在近些年来探索了一种新形式的保护教育活动——游客自主探索活动。本文以上海动物园为例,重点阐述了开展游客自主探索活动的背景和目的,活动实施的一般步骤和方法,并以猴年生肖文化节之"猿"来如此——游客自主探索活动为例,介绍了活动的开展情况和游客的参与情况,以供同行参考与借鉴。

With the change of zoo function, comprehensive conservation and conservation education become two core functions of modern zoos. In recent years, in order to enrich the visitor experience and promote the effectiveness of conservation education, Shanghai Zoo has explored the visitors’ autonomous exploration activity which is a new form of conservation education. This article, taking Shanghai zoo as an example, summarizes the purpose,the method and the effectiveness of visitors’ autonomous exploration activity, and shares a case of the Year of the Monkey Zodiac Culture Festival for peer reference.
