介绍了机车柴油机的工作特点及其发展现状,并重点从降低燃油消耗率及代用燃料的开发两方面出发,阐述了其相关节能技术,并对内燃机车及机车柴油机的应用前景进行了展望。由于内燃机车固有的基建成本低、受自然灾害及战争破坏等不可抗力因素的影响较小等显著优势,内燃机车及机车柴油机在未来的相当一段时间内仍会在铁路运输领域占据一席之地。
Introducing the working characteristics and development status of locomotive diesel engine, and focuses on the reduction of fuel consumption rate and the development of alternative fuels. The related energy-saving technologies are expounded, and the application prospects of diesel locomotives and locomotive diesel engines are prospected. Due to the inherently low cost of infrastructure for diesel locomotives and the significant impact of force majeure such as natural disasters and war damage, diesel locomotives and locomotive diesel engines will still occupy a place in the railway transportation field for quite some time in the future.
