“蛇”字语音演变考论

Research On Phonetic Evolution of Chinese Word “She”

"蛇"字在东汉以前属于歌部字,之后它的读音分化:表示"龙蛇"意的"蛇"字与歌部字相押,"委蛇"意的"蛇"字与支部字相押。魏晋时期,虽受方音或个人审音标准不同的影响,读音比较混乱,但还是保留了东汉时"蛇"字读音的轨迹。之后的各种韵书,遂继承沿用了这两种不同的读音至今。通过分析隋以前韵文材料以及后代韵书中的"蛇"字,从而窥见"蛇"字的历史音变。

The word “She” belonged to the “Ge” Rhyme before the Eastern Han Dynasty.After that,its pronunciation was divided：the word “She” meaning “dragon snake” was associated with the “Ge” Rhyme,and the word “She” meaning “bending” was related to the “Zhi” Rhyme.During the Wei and Jin Dynasties,although the pronunciation was different due to the different influences of the dialect or the individual audition standards,the vocalization of the pronunciation of the “She” in the Eastern Han Dynasty was preserved.After the various rhyme books,so inherits these two different pronunciations to this day.Through the analysis of the before Sui Dynasty rhyme materials and the word “She” in the rhyme books of later generations,we can see the historical phonetic changes of the word “She”.
