Study on the Chronicle Life of Wang Su

王肃生于汉末,卒于魏末,一生纵贯从汉魏到魏晋之际的两大历史转折时期。这一时期,既是中国历史上动荡、黑暗的时期,又是中国文化变革、转关的时期。经学也从衰落中崛起,并逐步走向繁荣。王肃是继郑玄之后的第一经学大家,经学著述丰富,且列于学官,影响了整个魏晋经学的发展走向。通过王肃年谱的编年史形式,既可映现汉末至魏末政治风云的变幻,又能揭示出该时期经学盛衰演变的历史,故本年谱通过钩沉考论,将汉末至魏末影响经学发展的重要历史事件、政治文化政策,系于谱主之下,以期直观地呈现魏晋经学从衰落中崛起走向繁荣的艰难历史进程。

Wang Su was born in the late of Han dynasty and died in the late of Wei dynasty, whose life spanned two historical transitional periods from Han to Wei dynasty and from Wei to Jin dynasty, which was not only a turbulent and dark period but also a time of Chinese culture change and social transition. During the period, the study of Confucian classics experienced the rise from decline and gradually stepped into prosperity. Wang Su was the first master of Confucian classics after Zhang Xuan, who wrote many books on Confucian classics and was listed as a scholar, who influenced the development trend of Confucian classics in the Wei and Jin Dynasties. The study of the chronology form of Wang Su＇s chronicles not only can reflect the political changes from the late Han Dynasty to the late Wei Dynasty, but also reveal the history of rise and fall of Confucian classics of this period. Therefore, by means of exploring and studying, the chronicle sets the historical events, political and cultural policies that influenced the development of Confucian classics from the late Han to the late Wei under the master of genealogy, which can intuitively present the difficult process of Confucian classics of Wei and Jin from decline to prosperity.
