《桐城文学渊源考》阙误续补

刘声木《桐城文学渊源考》载录了以桐城派为中心的1206位作家的生平,为探寻桐城文派的渊源与流变提供了丰赡的资料。然而,书中所载录的文字阙漏较多,内容涉及作家的名、字、号、里贯、科考、仕宦、著述名称及卷数等方面。另外,记载不无失误之处。通过爬梳载籍,考补作家缺名8例、作家缺字8例、作家名考异2例、作家名传不符1例、作家重收1例。

Liu Shengmu’ s TongChengWenXueYuanYuanKao records 1206 writers’ life of Tongcheng School, providing a richresource for Tongcheng School’ s origin and variety. However, there are a lot of missing records in the book, such as the writer’ sschool name, alias, pseudonym, native place, civil service examination, official career, book name and volume and so on. Inaddition, there are records of the mistakes. Through the careful research, we can supplement 8 authors’ school names,8 authors’alias,2 authors’ school names about different records,1 authors’ wrong biography,and 1 authors’ duplicate record.
