在高句丽王国建立和发展的过程中,以不同方式吸收容纳了多个部族的民众。在其政权解体后,高句丽遗民也以各种方式融入了其他民族。高句丽遗民除了一大部分迁居中原外,还有一部分人口投入新罗、突厥、日本等地,并对当地的社会经济文化生活产生了一定的影响。
