化工设计是基础理论知识与实践工程的桥梁,全国化工设计比赛在培养化工专业人才方面起了重要的促进作用。根据本人3年来参加指导"全国化工设计比赛"的经历,发现化工设计比赛有规模大、知识面广、综合性好及工程性强等特点,其推动了化工专业学生的专业素质、实践教学与工程能力的培养,因此,对指导老师、参赛学生及参赛学校提出更高的要求。

Chemical design is a bridge between basic theoretical knowledge and practical engineering. National＂Chemical Engineering Design Contest＂plays an important role in the training of professional talents in chemical industry.According to my three years guiding participation in the National ＂Chemical Design Contest＂, it has the characteristics of large scale, wide knowledge, good comprehensiveness and strong engineering for Chemical Design Contest. It plays an important promotion role in the professional quality training, practice teaching and engineering practice ability. Therefore, higher requirements for instructors, participating students and organizing school are proposed.
