苏州老城更新的绅士化发展进程及其对策研究

RESEARCH ON THE GENTRIFICATION PROCESS AND STRATEGY OF SUZHOU OLD CITY

苏州的老城更新在城市化的快速发展进程中不可避免地出现绅士化现象。绅士化在老城更新的物质空间环境和社会人文发展方面起着促进亦或抑制的作用。保护与发展的价值观碰撞使老城更新的绅士化在新时代呈现出新的特征并面临着新的时代诉求,即调整资源要素以应对人口结构失衡、构建良性促进机制来梳理多种绅士化动力因素、重构空间结构和形态以满足功能的置换。本文梳理苏州老城更新的绅士化进程特征,提出苏州老城的绅士化发展新模式、重塑绅士化的空间结构、重构绅士化的运行机制。

With the rapid development of urbanization, the renovation of Suzhou Old City inevitably confront gentrification phenomenon. Gentrification plays a dual role which promoting or restraining the physical environment and social culture development. The collision of values between protection and development brings about new features and new demands for the gentrification of old city renewal in the new era, i.e., adjusting the resources to cope with the imbalance of the population structure, building a benign promotion mechanism to cope with various driving forces, reconstructing spatial structure and form to satisfy function replacement. This article analyzes the characteristics of the gentrification process of Suzhou Old City, and puts forward the new development mode, and suggests to reshape the spatial structure and to reconstruct the operating mechanism of the gentrification of Suzhou Old City.
