摘要
梳理三本SSCI期刊论文文献,发现30年来国外学术英语写作评估研究主要从认知、文本、社会建构三个视角,围绕不同学术写作任务,评估学术英语写作能力的要素特征及支架发展。本文描述各研究课题评估的内容、采用的方法以及依据的理论,并分析评述对我国学术英语写作评估研究及实践的启示,期望对国内研究型高校逐步启动的本科生通用英语向学术英语课程转型的教学与研究提供借鉴。
By surveying the academic English writing assessment papers published between 1980 and 2016 in three important journals of SSCI, the present research reveals that foreign academic English writing assessment studies since 1980s have been developing mainly from three perspectives: cognitive, textual, and social-constructive, to assess important elements of learner academic writing proficiency for fulfilling different writing tasks and also various scaffolding strategies for development. The paper critically views the content of these assessment studies, together with a description of methods and theories based, to provide implications for the research and teaching in China, esp. in the present transition from English for General Purposes to English for Academic Purposes in the college English curriculum of Research Universities.
