摘要
本研究以动态系统理论为视角,通过为期8周的任务重复教学实验,探讨了任务重复对学术英语写作的影响。研究结果显示,任务重复整体上对学术英语写作词汇复杂性、句法复杂性和准确性产生积极影响,对流利性产生消极影响;任务重复对高、低外语水平学习者写作复杂性、准确性和流利性的效果存在很大差异。本研究对学术英语写作教学实践具有一定启示。
From the perspective of Dynamic Systems Theory, this study conducts an 8-week teaching experiment of task repetition to explore its effects on academic English writing. Results show that on the whole, task repetition has positive effects on lexical complexity, syntactic complexity and accuracy in academic writing, and has negative effects on fluency; the effects of task repetition on complexity, accuracy and fluency are distinctly different for individual learners with high and low English proficiencies. The study has some implications for the teaching practice of academic English writing.
