针对直流输电及电网新需求,为系统提供强动态无功支撑为主要目标的新型大型调相机即将得到快速发展。相比常规发电机,调相机在限制、保护等方面差异较大,因此专门探讨大型调相机保护功能和保护定值整定计算以及励磁系统限制和定值整定等问题,以期为新型大型调相机的应用和发展提供一些参考。

Against the new requirement by the DC electric power transmission network, new-types of the large-size synchronous compensator were developed quickly in order to provide the strong sand dynamic support to reactive power for the power system. Compared with the normal generator sets, there was great difference in the fields of restrict and protection in the synchronous compensator. The paper was specialized on exploration on restrictive and protective configuration of the large-size synchronous compensator as well as establishment of their setting value, expecting to contribute some reference for the application of the synchronous compensator.
