摘要
雍和宫弥勒大像不仅体现了中国古代藏传佛教雕刻艺术的精湛技艺,而且也蕴含了丰富的象征文化意蕴。其象征寓意具有多维性,从主题的象征,到仪轨的象征,再到量度的象征,它既体现了佛教造像和信仰的内在规定性,又渗透着政治和文化的时代特性。神圣与世俗圆融无碍,正是这尊弥勒大像象征文化的独特魅力。
The Maitreya Statue in the Lama Temple not only embodies the exquisite craftsmanship ot ancient Chinese Tibetan Buddhism carving art, but also contains rich symbolic cultural implications. Its symbolic meaning is multi - dimensional, including the symbol of the theme, the symbol of ritual and the symbol of measurement. It not only re- flects the intrinsic regulations of Buddhist statues and beliefs, but also infiltrates the era characteristics of the politics and culture. The sacred and secular harmony is the unique charm of the symbolic culture of this Maitreya Statue.
