Before the National Assembly convening, the National Government enforced the members of Kuomintang by popularly elected delegates to give up quotas. It made ten popularly elected delegates take hunger strike. This event was introduced into the media vision leading to some reports and comments of newspapers and magazines. Some magazines and newspapers made some exaggerated reports about the starvers' illness which made their hunger strike some performativity. The others made different evaluations and judgments about their behaviors of hunger. The media's close attention to the state of the body and different attitudes about hunger strike reflected the difference of the relationship between body and politics in different body views. Body, media and politics became three kinds of powers.
