The essence of the process in which the elite of Southwestern ethnic people participate in the construction of the state is the establishment of the discourse system represented by their related narratives. Through their own historical, national and political discourse, the elite of southwest ethnic people had constructed a state in their imagination, and pointed out the responsibilities, the status and role of southwest ethnic minorities in this country.
