边疆研究及其学科化:以民国边政学为中心

Frontier Research and Its Disciplinization: Centered on the Study of Frontier Politics in Republic of China

近代以来,学者们在展开边疆研究的同时,也进行着边疆学学科建构的尝试与努力。民国时期边政学是边疆研究学科化的重要表现,不仅探索了边疆学学科建构的路径,而且使得后来的边疆学者形成了鲜明的学科意识,激发着边疆研究学科化的持续努力。但民国边政学迅速兴起又转瞬即逝,除受时局变化影响,更重要的是学科建构中内在知识建构的缺失。当前边疆研究的学科化可能也会面临着与边政学同样的困境与问题。基于民国边政学的经验与教训,当前中国边疆学的学科建构,应该加强内在的知识与理论建构,在建构中国边疆学的同时建构一般边疆学。

Since modern times, scholars have made efforts to construct frontier science discipline while carrying out frontier research. Border politics was an important manifestation of the discipline of frontier research in the Republic of China. It not only explored the path of the discipline construction of frontier science, but also made the later scholars form a distinct sense of discipline and stimulated the sustained efforts of the discipline of frontier research. However, the frontier politics of the Republic of China rose rapidly and declined slightly. Apart from being influenced by the current situation, what is more important is the lack of internal knowledge construction in discipline construction. At present, the construction of China＇ s frontier science basically follows the path of the frontier politics in the Republic of China, so it may also face the same dilemma and problems. Reviewing the progress of frontier research in the Republic of China and discussing the path, achievements and shortcomings of the discipline construction of Frontier politics have very important enlightenment significance for the current discipline construction of frontier research. This paper holds that to promote the discipline of frontier studies, we should sum up the experience and lessons of Frontier politics in the period of the Republic of China, strengthen the internal knowledge and theoretical construction, and construct the general frontier studies while constructing the Chinese frontier studies.
