LU Yichen: Composing the Formal Experience

陆轶辰是Link Arc建筑师事务所的创始人及主持建筑师,同时在清华大学任教。他曾求学于清华大学与耶鲁大学,又辗转过包括弗兰克·盖里(Frank O.Gehry)、史蒂文·霍尔(Steven Holl)以及非常建筑在内的多个实验性建筑事务所。在时代浪潮下的求学与工作经历,造就了他独特的工作方法和设计风格。通过实体模型的空间体验,他重塑地景。他通过建筑形式本身,与城市空间对话,并利用建筑或开放或封闭的姿态,进行着空间抵抗。从陆轶辰身上,我们还能看到图解时代愈发罕见的空间经验知识,或也可称其为"感应"。

LU Yichen is the founder and chief architect of Studio Link-Arc, and an associate professor of architectural design at Tsinghua University. LU studied at Tsinghua University and Yale University. He has worked in many prestige architectural design offices, including Gehry partners, Steven Holl Architects, and Atelier FCJZ. LU＇s working and studying experiences have shaped his unique workflow and design style. Through physical models and spatial experience, LU reshapes the landscape. He converses with the urban space with the language of architectural form. His resistance approach is the gesture of architectural facade and building material selection. In LU, we can still see the rare concrete knowledge of space that is endangered today.
