2018年,起源于美国的Me Too运动在中国社交媒体上引发了大量的讨论。最初,几位名人在社交媒体上遭到性骚扰和强暴的指控,随后越来越多的女性讲述了自己的不幸遭遇。2018年7月27日,清华大学新闻与传播学院从事文化研究的常江副教授通过社交媒体公开邀请曾遭受性骚扰或强暴的人向他讲述他们的故事或经历。作为一名大学老师,常江副教授参与这项运动的根本考虑和动机是什么?他如何看待Me Too运动在中国的独特性和发展前景?这种参与式文化研究能否被视为当代知识分子的社会责任意识及实践的一种表现形式?本研究通过对常江副教授的对话,详细阐述了以上问题。
The Me Too Movement,originated in the United States,spread into China in 2018 as several allegations of sexual harassment and assault were revealed against a couple of celebrities successively which sparked tremendous social discussions and debates,mainly in social media platforms such as Weibo and WeChat.On July 27 of 2018,Dr Chang Jiang,ayoung professor of cultural studies from Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communication,publicly invited those people who were once sexually harassed or assaulted to send him their stories or experiences with the purpose to publicize their stories and expereinces in a proper way.As a university professor,what's the underlying consideration and motives of Dr.Chang's engagement of this movement?How did he view the uniqueness,characteristics and future development of Me Too Movement in China?Whether this participatory cultural studies could be viewed as a kind of manifestation of contemporary intellectuals' conciousness and practice of social responsibilities?Bearing these questions in mind,Professor Jin Jianbin,the executive editor of Global Media Journal,interviewed Professor Chang Jiang to elaborate the issues.
