Media convergence has been advanced inevitably in journal publishing,and the vigorous development and international competition of Chinese scientific journals depend on attainments of the editors under the trend of media convergence. This paper expounds the attainments that scientific journal editors should have in the age of media convergence,including scientific,professional,whole media, humanities, and information attainments.
