摘要
以汉语为母语的英语学习者在英语口语中非常普遍地出现第三人称单数性别误用的状况。根据母语思维定式以及母语负迁移,通过认知与心理视角分析英语口语中英语学习者对第三人称单数性别误用,旨在探究英语学习者是否能意识到他们在英语口语中第三人称单数性别误用。研究选取课堂观察作为辅助语言材料的方法,得出英语学习者能够意识到他们在英语口语中的第三人称单数代词的误用,并在大多数情况下可对其性别误用进行及时改正的结论。
The third-person singular gender misuse is very common among Chinese-speaking English learners. Select mother tongue’s mindset and negative transfer theory to analyze gender misuse of third person singular pronouns about learners from cognitive and psychological perspectives. And discusse whether learners realize their gender misuses in oral English or not, and use classroom observation to obtain materials. We conclude that learners who realize misuses in oral English are able to correct in most cases.
