清代湖北巡抚常大淳母亲及夫人墓志评介

A Review of the Epitaph of the Mother and Wife of the Governor Chang in Qing Dynasty

2017年11月,衡阳市博物馆在清理上世纪80年代就已入馆但未加整理的历代碑刻时,发现了清代湖北巡抚常大淳为其母亲陈太淑人所撰写的墓志,以及常大淳儿子常豫为其母亲刘太夫人所立之墓志,即"清诰封太淑人常母陈太淑人墓志铭"及"大清常母刘太夫人茔下墓志",此两合墓志为了解和研究衡阳常家,特别是常大淳、常豫父子的事迹以及太平军攻陷武昌的史实提供了一份宝贵的实物资料。

In November 2017, the Hengyang Museum was cleared of the ancient inscriptions of the eighties in the last century, and found the epitaph written for his mother by Chang Dachun, governor of Hubei in the Qing Dynasty, and his son, Chang Yu＇s epitaph written for his mother. There are total two together epitaphs： This two in one epitaph provides a valuable material for understanding and studying the history of Hengyang Chang＇s family, especially the deeds of Chang and his son, and the historical facts of Peace Army＇s capture of Wuchang, a city in Hubei Province.
