学界对弗朗西斯·培根的伦理思想研究甚少,为数不多的研究专著和论文中也只是介绍性地解读其伦理思想。当从经验主义的角度来解读培根伦理思想,我们就发现他的伦理思想受其新的科学思维——归纳法的影响。培根伦理学思想是其整个经验主义思想的不可分割的一部分。正如科学一样,其伦理学也是建立在对亚里士多德伦理学的批判的基础上。培根过分强调伦理的经验性,这也是其思想的不足之处。

People in academe payless attention on Bacon＇ s ethic theory. The limited works and essays just generally introduced it. From the perspective of empiricism to analyze his ethic theory, this paper will find that his method of induction have influenced his ethic, and his theory of ethic is a part of his totality of empiricism. As well as science, his ethic is based on the critique of Aristotle ＇ s ethic. Bacon paid more attention to the empiricism, and this turned to be his deficiencies.
