Disposal of exit clustered cases of norovirus acute gastroenteritis

2017年12月,境外某高校交流团入境后,4名成员在交流期间出现呕吐、腹泻、发热等症状,经就诊医院和地方疾控部门确认,证实为诺如病毒感染引起的急性胃肠炎。经对症治疗,4名患者要求乘坐航班随交流团出境回国。卫生检疫人员对病例开展流行病学调查、医学排查,在风险评估后认为存在病毒传播的潜在可能性。通过缜密的现场排查、启动联防联控机制、实施终末卫生处理,有效控制了病毒传播的风险。针对此类情形,卫生检疫人员应发挥主导作用,严格落实传染病防控措施,保障出入境人员和口岸的卫生安全。

After entry China in December 2017,during the academic exchange,four members of an foreign visit group developed symptoms including vomiting,diarrhea,fever.It was confirmed as acute gastroenteritis caused by norovirus infection by local hospital and CDC.The patients hope to depart by aircraft after one-day symptomatic therapy.The health quarantine officers department carried out epidemiological investigation,medical examination and risk assessment.It was possible that the patients had the capability to discharge virus.Through conducting careful field investigation,interdepartmental joint control measures and terminal sanitary treatment,the health quarantine officers effectively confined the risk of norovirus transmission.For such cases,the health quarantine department should play the leading role,implement measures to prevent and control infectious diseases,and ensure hygiene safety for entry-exit personnel at ports.
