本文论述了能力本位教育与工学结合培养模式在高职英语教学改革中的可行性及其重要意义。能力本位教育要求实现教学方式和教学内容的转变、评估方式的转变和教师知识结构的转变。工学结合的培养模式要求高职英语教学突出实用性和实践性,为学生创造典型任务,并充分利用现代化教学手段。

This paper discusses the feasibility and significance of the competency-based education and training model of combining work and study in English teaching reform.Competency-based education requires the change of teaching methods and course content,and the change of assessment methods,the changes of teachers’ knowledge structure.Combining work and study requires English teaching training mode to highlight the practical utility,to create a typical task for the students,and full use of modern teaching methods.
