试从英汉语文化背景出发,分文化内的重合、文化的部分对应和文化的游离和冲突三类情况进行对比,并阐述如何在等效翻译原则下处理这些文化问题。旨在证明用等效翻译观来指导文化翻译只是对译者提出了更高的要求,它在文化翻译中的优势是客观存在的。

From cultural background of English and Chinese in this paper,it divided into three types: cultural coincidence,correspondence in part,dissociation and conflicts.Meanwhile,it expounded how to deal with these cultural problems under the principle of equivalence in translation.It proved that translators from equivalent translation perspective put forward more requirements,which advantages in cultural translation are objective existence.
