The metaphor is as the focus of research by rhetorician has been a long time.It is now increasingly recognized that language phenomena of metaphor must reflect the interaction between its identity and vehicle through context knowledge.This paper through explaining the characteristics of imaginary experience in understanding metaphor,to analyze the factors that affect the metaphor to try to elaborate the role and influence of context on understanding metaphor.
