摘要
德国现实主义作家冯塔纳的系列婚姻小说深刻揭示了19世纪普鲁士的性别政治和两性关系。本文以男性气质研究为理论基础,从男性研究视角重新解读冯塔纳的经典作品,并对作品中的多元男性特质进行深入剖析。相比于小说中女性人物丰富的性别身份表述和不幸的社会经历,男性亦包含独特的性别体验和性别特质,同样在社会权力机制中经历着异于女性的"不幸"。小说中男性的危机同样是市民社会中性别政治的真实体现,男性的多元化气质亦是社会文化建构的产物。
The German writer of realism Fontane deeply reveals in his marriage novels the gender politics and gender relations in Prussia time of 19th century. This paper employs the modern masculinity theories to reinterpret Fontane’s classic novels and analyze the diversified masculinities in his works. Comparing to the diversified expressions of the female identities and their unfortunate social experiences, the essence of the male identities also has distinct gender experiences and gender traits. Men experience the misfortunes which are different from that of women in the social power mechanism. The crisis of masculinity in the novels is the genuine refection of gender politics in the civil society, and the diversifed masculinities are also the products of the social and cultural construction.
