凉州小宝卷初探

A Preliminary Study of Liangzhou Xiao Baojuan

历史上并无"小宝卷"之说,是地方学者搜集整理宝卷时,为区别于讲唱结合的长篇故事宝卷,将源于宝卷而又相对独立,在凉州地区广为传唱的"小调"命名为"凉州小宝卷"。只唱不讲、短小精悍的凉州小宝卷与凉州宝卷同源同流,共时共生。凉州小宝卷有部分曲目与青海嘛呢经相同,但受地域文化的影响,二者差异甚殊。溯本求源,凉州小宝卷是否与明清年间民间教派宝卷的"时兴小曲"一脉相承,有待考证、探究。

There did not exist so-called “Xiao Baojuan” in history. The local scholars called the widely-sung and relatively independent “Little Tune”, which originated from Baojuan as “Liangzhou Xiao Baojuan” to dif-ferentiate it from the telling and singing saga of Baojuan in the process of collecting Baojuan. Although the short and sharp “Liangzhou Xiao Baojuan” is only sung without being told, it shares the same origin and trend as “Li-angzhou Baojuan” and has a symbiotic relationship with “Liangzhou Baojuan”. “Liangzhou Xiao Baojuan” has some of the same tunes as “Qinghai Mani Sutra”, but due to the influences of regional cultures, the two are quite different. When it comes to tracing the origin, whether “Liangzhou Xiao Baojuan” and “Fashionable Little Tune” of Folk Sect Baojuan of the Ming and Qing Dynasties can be traced to the same origin is yet to be verified and explored.
